It’s time again to hunt for office space so today I stopped by The Two Twenty (220 20th St W), a relatively new co-working space in Saskatoon operated by Shift Development.
Designed for entrepreneurs like yours truly to get out of the house and collaborate with like minded individuals, I spent the afternoon working in their co-working suite and had a tour of their private office spaces and studios.
The Two Twenty is brightly lit, decorated well, and gave me the opportunity to meet some fellow entrepreneurs and Internet tycoons.
The Two Twenty has memberships that will allow you to just pop in for a day or make the space your new 24/7 home.
I’ll be checking out a few more spaces over the next week but The Two Twenty has certainly peaked my interest.

HeyTell is a free voice messaging app for the iPhone and Android that functions quite like a walkie-talkie. You just select a contact and then hold down the big orange button and say your message. Let go of the button and your message is instantly sent.
I wasn’t sold on this concept when a buddy first recommended it to me but after using the app for a couple months, it is actually a nice alternative to texting. When you think of HeyTell more like a voice texting, you can immediately see how it can be handy.
If you want to be a little more personal but not interrupt someone with a phone call, you can voice message through HeyTell.
If you have a long message to send and dread typing it all out, you can quickly voice message it.
However, there are certain situations where a text message would simply be preferred.
Get a voice message while you’re out at a noisy bar — forget being able to hear it.
Get a voice message while out dining at a restaurant — it would be rude to interrupt your meal to listen to it.
With that said I use HeyTell quite regularly with a few friends and quite enjoy the convenience of using it. HeyTell also uses your phone’s Wifi or cellular data connection so you save on text messaging fees!
